The mission behind this blog website is to spotlight 21^st century issues at the intersection of cities and climate. As the climate rapidly changes and we can no longer ignore its impacts, we must answer when nature knocks at our door and demands a response. Communities in the United States and across the planet are forced to navigate pressing challenges such as high energy costs, displacement from natural disasters, insecure access to food, and failing services and infrastructure.
